Unitech’s
dual magnet float type
side mounted level switches are
used for controlling liquid levels in
open or closed containers.
These switches are suited for
mounting on containers where it
is impracticable to mount top
mounted levels switch due to
space or cost constrains.
This switches are very rugged in
construction and can be used for
light fraction liquids as well.
These switches house permanent
magnet in float assembly which
rise and fall with float. This
magnet repels another magnet
housed in the switch housing. This
magnet activates the snap action
micro switch.The advantage of
this mechanism lies in the fact
that contact pressure is
independent of the force of
magnet.

Top mounted liquid level switches
have a reed switch hermatically
sealed in guide tube.
As the float moves along the
guide tube the ring magnet in the
float activates the reed switch.
The reed switches are available in
normally open, normally closed or
change over type.
